Free Dividend Calculators
Three calculators, each answering a different question. All of them run entirely in your browser, need no signup, and store nothing.

Dividend Growth Calculator
Project a portfolio forward. Set a starting investment, monthly contributions, dividend yield, dividend growth rate and share price growth, then see where the income lands. Includes a DRIP toggle with a chart comparing reinvestment against taking the cash, plus optional tax and inflation adjustments and a year-by-year table.
Answers: what will this portfolio be worth, and what will it pay me?
-
Dividend Growth Rate Calculator
Work backward from real dividend history. Enter two figures and the years between them, or a full year-by-year record, and get the compound annual growth rate. Also reports total growth, doubling time, and in detailed mode a simple average alongside the CAGR so you can see whether growth was steady or lumpy.
Answers: how fast has this dividend actually been growing?
-
Monthly Dividend Income Calculator
Start from an income goal instead of an investment. Enter a target monthly income and a portfolio yield to get the capital required, the gap from what you already have, and a rough timeline if you add contributions. Includes a table showing the same target at several different yields.
Answers: how much do I need invested to earn a given income?
-
Dividend Capture Calculator
For the short-term trade rather than the long hold. Buy before the ex-dividend date, collect the payment, sell after. Enter the price, dividend, spread and your ordinary income tax rate and it returns the net result plus the price recovery the trade needs to break even. Because a capture trade fails the qualified holding period, the tax rate does most of the work.
Answers: does this trade actually make money after tax?
-
Dividend Yield & Yield-on-Cost Calculator
Two views of the same dividend. Enter a payment and share price for the current yield, add your cost basis to see yield on cost alongside it, and add your share count for annual and monthly income. Also reports the yield an alternative investment would need to beat, which falls out of the same arithmetic.
Answers: what does this pay today, and what does it pay me?
Not sure which one you need?
Most people start on the growth calculator and get stuck on one input: the dividend growth rate. If you are guessing at that number, use the growth rate calculator first to derive it from a company's actual payment record, then bring it back.
If you already know the income you want rather than the amount you have, start with the monthly income calculator instead.
Background reading
The calculators assume a few concepts. If any of the inputs are unfamiliar, the guides section covers reinvestment mechanics, how dividend growth is measured, payment frequency, yield on cost, US dividend taxation, and what the Dividend Aristocrats label actually requires.
Disclaimer: These calculators are for informational and educational purposes only and are not financial, investment, or tax advice. All projections are estimates based on the figures you enter and assume rates hold steady, which real markets do not guarantee. Dividends can be reduced or eliminated at any time. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making investment decisions.
